I want to lose 10lb by the end of april is this enough execerise to reach my goal?
Hi all i want to lose 10lb by the end of april as its my birthday. I am going to do 35 mins a day on my wii fit plus do about 20 mins on a exercise bike is this enough exercise to lose 10lb in 35 days or am i expecting to much??
can anybody also recommend they type of foods i sould be eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the moment i don't have anything to eat till about 12pm then don't really have anything again till 7pm ish any help would be grate thanks
Sounds like a challenge to me best way to loose weight. .
* ALLWAYS have breakfast porridge with a bit of fruit is the best the porridge fills you up till lunch and the fruit enzymes kick start your fat burning (rememeber breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day!! so try and judge all other meal portion sizes by that!)
* healthy snacks. . . the less food you eat the more your metabolism slows down therefore burning less fat so try and eat something in between meals nothing much just a ryvita or an apple or banana
*healthy lunch and then a
*small meal in the eve ideally if your going to eat something a bit naughty make a rule to have it for lunch or before two. . gives you all day to work it off.
*drinks lots of water!!! i found easiest way was to buy a 500ml (normal sized) bottle of water and re use the bottle, four of those a day is easy (the less water you drink the more your body retains is, which can make you weigh more! so the more you drink the more it gets rid of and thats few easy pounds dropped there!)
Try not to eat to much sugar (fruit contains a lot so for an afternoon snack i would go for raw carrots, cucumber sticks or something like that) when you eat a lot of sugar it spikes your insulin levels which makes your liver produce something called glycogen and the more it produces the more you weigh (hence the small snacks between meals.. . helps keep your blood sugar levels steady!)
exercise wise that sounds plenty, just make sure you vary your wii fit routine, and include cardio to add to the bike ride. . . plus when biking 8 secs peddling as hard as you can then 12 sec biking at a more relaxed rate for ideally the 20 mins but start lower and build up works like and absolute miracle!!! trust me!
