Shimano Dura-Ace 8-speed and indexed down-tube shifters?
I bought an old bike but i can't tell what year is it from (i didn't check the serial of the frame.. i didn't find it)
So the specs are: 8speed Dura-Ace cassette (with the last cog threaded), downtube indexed shifter for rear and friction shifter for the front, a Krapf steel frame (chromed)
It weights 10kg precisely which is quit decent for steel
Question: what year could it possibly be?
I'll have a look on the codes on some parts which are exposed.
On the frame I can't find it (it's not on the dropout)
I'll add some codes in a few minutes
it's BR 7402, and has threaded last cog so it's Uniglide, so from Sheldon Brown site I found out it was made only in 1989 (8speed uniglide)
Thre rest of components are all 7402 (brake levers, calipers, shifters, etc). I sens these are the original parts of the bike so it's precisely 1989.
Still a very decent ride at a small price, and it's dura-ace in mint condition 
I would guess late 80s because It is dura ace and it is index downtube shifting. 8 speeds cassettes were pretty rare back then and only on top of the line bikes. So around 87 to 89 maybe, that is my guess.
