Contoured changing pad for changing table?
We have a dresser/changing table combo. We mostly bought it for the dresser to store our baby's clothes in. We're not even sure we will use it as a changing table, since it will be on the other side of the house, and I'm sure I won't go there every time I need to change the baby. I know they sell the contoured pillows to change baby on when using the table. Is there anything else we can use instead of having to buy one...I know it doesn't seem like a lot of money at around $20, but we have so much to buy and are looking for the necessities. Could we use a towel maybe (folded safely). Our baby will NEVER be unattended at the table, so I don't think there would be a "falling off" hazard. Any suggestions? Safety is a big issue for us. Please let me know what you think.
BTW, the biggest reason I don't want to buy the changing pad is because I'm not sure it will be used. Thanks for the input!
I don't think that you should buy one unless you know you will be putting the changing table to use. My son is 10 months old and I have never once used his changing table for changing him, It's a good shelf though for all his blankies and stuffed animals! LOL Unless you want to use it after you have the baby then you can just get one after baby is born, or ask for one at the baby shower! Good luck and congrats!
