Does The Ghetto Workout Actually Make You Look Like The Guys In The Video?
The video 24 hour ghetto workout or Fitness From The Streets Part 1 - 5 on youtube. There are a bunch of guys doing all these exercise like , variations of pull ups, chin ups, push ups, leg raises, dips etc. Does this stuff actually work to make you look similar to the guys in the video. I don't want any gym junkie guys just saying unless you have equipment you can't get ripped. I just want some good answers.
I'm gonna side step all the arguements above.... I will say this....
A gymnast gets ripped, but uses little more than his own bodyweight to build muscle. (However, he/she also has the benefit of hours of working out at least 5 days a week.) But there is a whole network out there referenced as the "Bodyweight Culture" who use similar training to get fit.
However, having said that.... I will agree with the idea that the guys in the YouTube videos probably didn't rely solely on the exercises they show in the video. There were probably weights involved for some of them. You just don't get that big with bodyweight exercises alone.
What has me curious is this.... What is their diet like to get that ripped look? What do they eat? Are they spending lots of money at GNC or are they relying on "ghetto" diet to go with the workout?
