Which Glyco-Flex formula should I use for Grade 1 luxating patella?
I've ordered Glyco-Flex I Soft Chews for my 6 pound maltese dog. The last time we saw the vet, she told me that my dog has SLIGHTLY loose patellas (knees) but that it wasn't serious and didn't require treatment yet. The vet said that if it worsens, she would consider starting cortisone treatment. Basically, it's a very minor looseness at this stage and nothing to be concerned about. I'm assuming it's a grade 1 right now... I've noticed her "hopping" at times, but it only happens rarely.
My question is: Is Glyco-Flex I the right formula for my dog, or should I be using Glyco-Flex II? I just bought a new bag of Glyco-Flex I so I'm hoping that it is the right formula so that I haven't wasted my money.
What's the difference between the two formulas? The website gives such a general description, it doesn't help me at all.
Thanks kindly in advance for your help!
