3. Ignore the weight scale - instead opt for a physical goal like dropping 2 dress size or getting back into a pair of trousers you have not worn for a while. It will give you both a sense of great reward and a huge sense of achievement.

With your strength workout - combine an upper body workout and lower body workout without rest, say 10 push-ups followed immediately by 10 prisoner squats and rest 60 seconds, and repeat. Do 3 sets of each followed by another different set of upper and lower body combination.
